Niagara Falls Transit service level update
NIAGARA FALLS, ON - During the last State of Emergency in March 2020, Niagara Falls Transit reduced to Sunday service to comply with the orders. After the province released their ‘Stay-At-Home’ order requiring businesses to close by 8:00 pm last week, some essential services across the City continue to remain open to serve the community, up to and past 11:00 pm. As a result, we may be stranding essential workers, or those shopping for essential goods by ending service at 9:00 pm daily.
In order to provide the best level of service to Niagara Falls transit riders given the current Provincial restrictions, as of Monday, January 25th, we will return to regular winter service, minus 30 minute peak services on day routes. This represents 74% of our pre-pandemic regular Winter season service.
