This Week's Workout Sounds -- 

This week's workout playlist is brought to you by our one and only Tim Morrill. 

This week's workout playlist is in the form of a voicemail that hasn't been listened to yet, and creates a motivational space for anyone who has been told they can't do something. This is a good 3 minute listen before you go out and crush a workout or attempt a PR. 

New Community Info -- 

We have a few very interesting reads to share today! This week's theme is INSPIRATION.

First, we wanted to share a rare email that get sent out weekly by Tim Feriss. These emails, called "5-Bullet Friday" are the inspirations to our 6 Notes on Sunday emails! Sign up here.

Second, we have a Podcast called Finding Mastery: Conversations with Michael Gervais, where Dr. Gervais talks about how to decode mastery and apply practices towards getting yourself to the level of mastery you desire in your activity or passion. Check those out here.

This Week's Goals:

This segment of 6 Notes will introduce five goals to you, weekly. You can focus only on one, you could focus on all five, or you can mix and match each week to fit your needs and desires. These could also just be little things you keep in your back pocket as you navigate your world this week. Your choice! 

  1. Journal whenever you're feeling down/lower than usual.
  2. Ask yourself why you're feeling any emotion that is causing you strife in a daily activity.
  3. Send a friend a text to check-in that you haven't talked to in a while. 
  4. Get at least 8 hours of sleep every night. 
  5. Cut down on caffeine consumption from what you usually have. 

NEWS in Ultimate Land 

This segment is just for information that's been working through the Ultimate community!

  • Well, not really Ultimate news, but the US of A has a new President this week, taking Trump out of office. 
  • Disc Diversity, an organization created by Shayne Crawford, announced the first all-Black ultimate tour as a goal for Fall of 2021. 

HYPE HYPE HYPE --

The #HYPE of the week! We're going to include lifting videos, highlight videos, Callahan videos, and more! 

This week's hype video is brought to you by Lili Gu and Max Charles and is one of the most iconic and inspirational highlight videos ever. This BIPOC Excellence in Ultimate highlight video is worth a watch, rewatch, and then probably watch again the next morning.

Ines Bringel - Ines' WHY DO YOU episode is really just full of huge plays and excellent points about training and the game. 

Pedro Vargas - Pedro's WHY DO YOU episode, which dropped this week, recognizes and highlights one of our longest standing members of MPFPT. Regardless of age, experience, mentality, etc., Pedro shows time and time again that he is one of the most explosive and dedicated humans to this sport.
