Dear Everyone,
A belated Happy New Year from all of us here at Eclectic Maker.
January is always a tough month, with Winter weather and post-holiday blues, but it's also a great time to sew. So, take advantage of the dark evenings and stitch to your heart's content if you can. We've at last got some great new fabrics in store to help with that. Although our shop doors are closed as we endure another national lock-down we are still taking orders on our website and working hard to get them out quickly, either for collection from outside our Worthing shop, or delivery anywhere across the UK.
Sadly we have had to suspended shipping services to destinations outside the UK for a while. This is for a number of reasons including difficulties resulting from the UK leaving the EU at the start of this year, logistical problems with our carriers facing delays and diversions as well as complications with changes in Royal Mail's procedures for dealing with Customs on overseas deliveries. We have resumed delivery to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man now though and we hope to open the gates fully to orders from our international customers once again soon.
With Blue Monday behind us and a great new sew along quilt project just starting (see details at the end of this newsletter), we are looking forward to brighter days ahead. We hope you are too.

We have added to our knits section with some super soft and delightful Art Gallery Fabric (AGF) designs. FREE Stash Buster Quilt Sew Along
New Year, new start. So we're starting this year with a brand new FREE Stash Busting Sew Along Quilt project. Twelve blocks that anyone can have a go at, one every four weeks or so to give you the chance to comfortably finish the quilt by the end of this year.
This quilt harks back to the very roots of patchwork and quilting, as it is intended to make use of materials that you have to hand. It's a great opportunity to raid and perhaps reduce your fabric stash.
