HUG A HEALTHCARE WORKER TODAY!
Oh wait, it’s Covid, we can’t hug our heroes…. But they need us right now! Mission Council is coordinating a letter writing and donation drive for the nurses and other support staff at the hospital so that we can show our appreciation for their continuing commitment to caring for our community. They have been fighting for us since March 2020 and need to hear from us now. Will you help?
1. Write some ‘Dear Hero’ love notes expressing thanks, a personal story, encouragement, etc. and mail them to Rossi Selzer, 320 S Washington St., Winchester, 22601 or drop them through the mail slot at that address. This is a great project for kids too!! (Envelopes are not needed for the notes)
2. Send financial donations for items for the care packages to church and the team will make the purchases: pay online at fpcwinc.org/donate or PayPal, or make checks out to the church and mail them to 116 N. Loudoun St., Winchester, 22601. Please clearly indicate on the memo line (or in the ‘other’ or ‘notes’ field online) that it is for the nurse care packages.
All cards and donations need to be received by February 1 st so please don’t delay! And thank you for serving Christ and neighbor in this time of need.

Children's Choir rehearsals have resumed and they happen on Thursdays at 4:30 in the Fellowship Hall. This year we are making music with instruments while properly distanced and masked! The choir is for children ages four and up. If you would like to come to try it out, just let Amy Bowman know so she can plan instrument parts for the right amount of children. Email amybowman07@gmail.com if you're interested or would like more information!
