Digitization Specialist, Still Image - Duke University, Durham, NC
  • Produces digital surrogates of books, manuscripts, audio, and moving image material from Library and other University holdings. Creates images and surrogates according to deadlines and at specified levels of quality to meet Libraries’ goals for preserving collections and providing online resources. Provides specialized support for still image material (including but not limited to photographs, negatives, early manuscripts and papyri) in the Library’s Digital Production Center (DPC) utilizing both full spectrum and multispectral imaging equipment and techniques. 
IMLS Research Scholar - Gilcrease Museum - University of Tulsa, Tulsa, OK
  • Collaborates with Museum staff, community partners, and advisory committee by providing archival, research, writing, and programming support. Assists archivists in determining the organization of the Eddie Faye Gates Tulsa Race Massacre Collection (EFGTRM). Conducts research and identifies thematic interconnections within the EFGTRM Collection and related American Indian removal era collections at Gilcrease Museum. Presents oral and written findings of research in two Eddie Faye Gates Memorial Lectures coinciding with the centennial of the Tulsa Race Massacre. Identifies archival collections for new exhibit planning and produces manuscript transcriptions. Assists with catalog/finding aid support for the collection and identifies topics for archive processing and cataloging. Assists Digitization Team with online collections projects and collaborates with museum’s Education Department to develop curricular materials. Strengthens institutional relationships with local organizations.
Curator of Native American Collections - The University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM
  • Develops and manages Native American archival and general collections. Engages in library outreach activities related to Southwestern tribes and pueblos. Works with the communities from where collections originate, respecting sovereignty as well as cultural and intellectual property rights. Serves as the primary liaison and actively develops professional relationships with faculty, staff, and students in cross-disciplinary fields of Native American Studies. Works collaboratively across University Libraries, including with the Indigenous Nations Library Program (INLP), DISC, and the Collections Department. In conjunction with the Library’s INLP, supports Indigenous learning, promotes Indigenous scholarship, and cultivates Indigenous creation. Provides instruction in research and information literacy for Native American subject areas. Provides research consultation to individuals and groups. 
Digital Access and Preservation Librarian - Center for Jewish History, New York, NY
  • Oversees a robust, proprietary digital asset management and preservation system. Collaborates with colleagues in Metadata and Discovery Services to expand functionality and facilitate interoperability between our digital asset management system, the Center’s other shared library systems, and external data-sharing exchanges. Serves as primary contact with Ex Libris and external contacts related to the maintenance of the digital asset management and preservation system. Works collaboratively with Center and Partner staff to analyze, remediate, and troubleshoot new and migrated digital assets. Maintains an in-house developed processor tool, written in Python, that assists Center and Partner staff to create and submit deposits into the system as part of an automated and mediated workflow. Collaborates with Center and Partner colleagues on expanding existing digital preservation policy and planning.
Curatorial Manager, Asian and Pacific Art - Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA), Brisbane, Queensland, AUS
  • Manages a team of processionals engaged in building one of the world's leading art collections. Provides strategic and conceptual direction for the department, its exhibitions, related programming, collection development, and research. Responsible for ensuring Gallery protocols are followed by all staff when dealing with artists or undertaking community liaison, in particular with regard to First Nations people from the Asian and Pacific communities, Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander communities, and also with other diaspora communities. Manages and leads the documentation, cataloging, interpretation, research, and care of the Gallery collections of Asian and Pacific art. Facilitates information sharing and outreach by contributing to publications, conducting lectures, presentations and seminars, and supervising programs of high-level research relevant to Asian and Pacific art. 
Associate Curator of Collections and Exhibitions - Amerind Foundation, Dragoon, AZ
  • Manages the Amerind Foundation collections, including contemporary cultural objects, cultural objects recovered from archaeological investigations, a non-circulating library, and archives. Cares for a 40,000 object collection, manages a 20,000 volume library, manages Amerind’s archives, catalogs new donations, maintains collections records and inventories, loans, works on ongoing repatriation efforts in consultation with tribal governments, authorizes archival reproduction permissions, oversees collections care volunteers and Amerind’s Librarian. Works with Native American contemporary artists to collaboratively curate exhibits of their work, as well as with artists whose subject matter focuses on the American West. Responsible for developing exhibitions on historical and cultural themes with appropriate advisors. Pursues funding opportunities to support the collections and activities and plans public programs. Assists researchers and artists using Amerind's collections and engages in community outreach. 
Curator/Archivist - State Black Archive Research Center and Museum, Huntsville, AL
  • Arranges and make available archival collections using professional standards. Provides courteous and timely service to students, researchers, and visitor via email, phone calls, postal mail, and onsite. Works with a variety of archive formats, including paper, photographs, multimedia, and born-digital, according to professional standards. Preserves records, documents, and objects copying records to film, videotape, audiotape, or computer formats. Provides patron assistance by completing weekly shifts in the University and State Black Archives Research Center and Museum. Promotes University and State Black Archives Research Center and Museum initiatives and services through tours, presentations, exhibits, social media, and other appropriate venues. Monitors, reviews, identifies, and reports processing policies and procedures for clarity and adoption in collaboration with other archivists. Assists in identifying Alabama research projects based on archival collections for faculty, staff, and students.
