Football Finals
We had a great send off for our Gladiators this morning! At St. Francis, the high school marching band braved the cold to play the fight song as families gathered with signs and banners. Several police vehicles provided an escort for the team bus which made a pass by the Immaculate Conception playground full of excited young Gladiators.
Now, it's onward to Ford Field for championship game which begins at 10:00 am on Saturday. Here are some ways to enjoy tomorrow's game from wherever you are:
- Local ABC affiliate 29&8 will be broadcasting the game FREE. Channel 8 on Charter?
- WLJN Sports 89.9FM will be broadcasting the game on their station.
- Fox Sports will stream the event for those of you with access to that platform.
- MHSAA.tv will carry the games (subscription-based).
Voting for the Detroit Lions High School Coach of the Year continues until 11:59 pm on Saturday. Fans can vote more than once. Coach Sellers can be found in the Division 7 category.
We anticipate the team will return to Traverse City at approximately 7:00 pm on Saturday evening. Check the GTACS Facebook page for updates.

March for Life
The in-person March for Life in Washington, DC, was cancelled due to the pandemic and unrest in the nation's capitol. St. Francis High School juniors will walk locally in support of life this year. The event will take place on January 29 beginning with Adoration/Benediction at St. Francis church, a pro-life talk by Wayne Mueller, a prayerful walk to Oakwood Cemetery, and a prayer led by Fr. Libby near the tomb of the unborn.

This two bedroom, two bathroom unit sleeps six comfortably (eight with small children) and boasts a pool, tennis courts, shuffle board, and children's playground. Choose a week (Saturday to Saturday) based on availability; spring break week is a possibility. No pets. Transportation not included. Refundable $100 security deposit required at check-in.
