In the past month, we have made calls and hosted meetings with three state legislators: Senator Josh Becker, Senator Scott Wiener, and Assemblymember Kevin Mullin. Over 70 people from our network in San Francisco and San Mateo County participated virtually in the bilingual meetings to get answers from legislators on their plans to protect tenants from eviction and relieve rent debt. Join us as we debrief and reflect on the meetings, share updates with what is happening with the proposed laws, and collectively strategize on our next steps.
