Dear LMC Families: 

On Wednesday, January 27th over half of our 8th graders will participate in the Standardized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT).  This exam requires these students and staff to come into the building. The requirements for this exam also mean we will need to utilize teachers from grades 6-8 as proctors.   This means that on the 27th, students in grades 6-8 will begin with homeroom and then the rest of the day will be a mix of asynchronous and live sessions. Students will be given more information about their schedule when they attend homeroom that day. 

For 8th graders participating in the exam, please review the guidelines HERE!  Do know that students can self-dismiss after the SHSAT. On this day, the 8th-grade students not participating in testing will be given time to make-up work and review skills.  No new work will be posted.
