What is the definition of conviviality? While the term conviviality is used in many different meanings and contexts, for us, it means equity, mutual respect for each other, and the natural world, and assuming joint responsibility for the ways we live, we act, we engage. It also means building networks of solidarity and support across space and time. Our two raï contributions this week show this beautifully, both in very different ways. And then, there was also the biggest Reading Group crowd ever that gathered past Wednesday to depart on the convivial journey through Sara Ahmed's book 'Living a Feminist Life'. In Ahmed's own words, we hope that the group will become a 'space of encounter for care and caring.'

In her powerful and poetic writing, Zuleika walks with us on the path of realising her 'colonised self, decolonising it through the emergence of the plural self, and the eventual reconstituting of self as a coming to voice.'

Héctor asserts that, especially in light of the Covid pandemic, our starting point in looking to the future 'requires a collective exercise of transformation towards a different social perspective with new human relationships - and where the center of actions, and the use of our tools, prioritize life and the collective good.'
