Wellness: What Does It Mean to You and What Should April 12 (Duke's Day of Wellness) Look Like?
For the past forty years (except for a brief nine-month hiatus to practice law), Sue Wasiolek (“Dean Sue”) has worked in the Division of Student Affairs at Duke University. She has served for over thirty-five years as an academic advisor to freshmen and sophomores and has taught courses in education, law and cultural anthropology. She works a lot to improve wellness for students, so this conversation will be a great opportunity to hear from Dean Sue on her work and make your voice heard!

What does art have to do with the sciences & vice versa?
Dr. Stephen Nowicki is Bass Fellow and Professor of Biology. He has spent mot of his career here at Duke and has done extensive research with animals such as birds, spiders, shrimp, and more. He has studied bird song extensively, which is why he is also interested in the intersection of the arts and the sciences. It is sure to be an interesting talk!
