For echOpen, 2021 promises to be an exciting year full of surprises starting with the launch of echOlab, our DIY laboratory, and the recruitment of a new Medical Project Manager.

IN 2021 ECHOPEN INTRODUCES ECHOLAB, OUR DIY LABORATORY!

If you are interested in ultrasound and hardware experimentations, echOlab projects will help you build your own DIY laboratory.

From handmade phantom to chuck that maintains transducers, we capitalized on both previous contributions and new developments to gather all the tools that helped us build our prototypes.
We are now documenting a full range of components compatible and combinable with one another.

ECHOPEN IS LOOKING FOR ITS NEW MEDICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Be part of a collaborative and open project gathering an international community toward the transformation of diagnosis orientation!

Based in our office in Paris, in close collaboration with all the echOpen team, our institutional partners but also our final users, the Medical Project Manager will be in charge of medical research and educational activities.

echOpen is an open and collaborative project and community, led by a multidisciplinary core of experts and senior professionals with the aim of designing a functional affordable and open source echo-stethoscope (ultrasound probe) connected to a smartphone, allowing the radical transformation of diagnostic orientation in hospitals, general medicine and medically underserved areas. This initiate is aimed for health professionals from southern and northern countries.
