Requesting Signatures: Letter to US Mission on Climate Displacement
Dear Members,
TheNGO Committee on Migrationwishes to share, and is requesting your endorsement of, a letter to the US Mission on Climate Displacement.
The letter serves as an introduction to our committee, encourages US leadership and action in the interrelated areas of environment and human mobility, and invites collaboration and partnership between the NGO Committee on Migration and the US government in the term ahead.
We have addressed it to the following members of the new US Administration:
Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield (incoming US Permanent Representative to the UN)
Ambassador John Kerry (Climate Envoy to the US President)
Samantha Power (Administrator of the US Agency for International Development)
We are aiming to secure the greatest possible number of endorsements from member organizations of the NGO Committee on Migration. Interested organizations may sign on by completing the online form (click on the "SIGN ON" button below), no later than the deadline of 29 January.
