Did you know that volunteering correlates with a 24% lower risk of early death – about the same as eating six or more servings of fruits and vegetables each day, according to some studies. What’s more, volunteers have a lower risk of high blood glucose and a lower risk of inflammation levels connected to heart disease. They also spend 38% fewer nights in hospitals than people who shy from involvement in charities.
Our guest organist Sunday, January 31 is Clay Whittington of Greenville, NCClay was born and raised in Kinston, North Carolina, and is studying vocal performance with a concentration in sacred music at East Carolina University.
The church is open for in-person worship beginning Sunday, February 7. Holy Eucharist will be celebrated with a limit of 15 people.
