Join the Conversation on the
Behavioral Health Administration Bill

When the Behavioral Health Task Force presented its Blueprint for Reform to Governor Polis, one of its top recommendations included the creation of a Behavioral Health Administration (BHA). The BHA will ensure a standard of high-quality, integrated, people-first behavioral health care that’s accessible to all Coloradans.

A bill will be introduced in the 2021 legislative session, sponsored by Representative Young, Representative Pelton and Senator Fields, that directs the Colorado Department of Human Services to develop a plan for the creation of the BHA.

Weigh In

We are eager to hear feedback from our partners and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Meetings
We are hosting two meetings to review the bill and hold a discussion:

Both meetings will follow the same format, so you do not need to attend twice. ASL and Spanish interpretation will be available for both meetings. The meetings will be recorded and posted on our webpage

Stakeholder Survey
If you are unable to attend a meeting, we encourage you to complete this survey

Spanish Resources Forthcoming
We are in the process of translating both the survey and the bill draft into Spanish, and those links will be available on this page later this week.
