ARIA Early Career Scholarly Achievement Award

Nominations are being accepted for the American Risk and Insurance Association’s Early Career Scholarly Achievement Award. This award was initiated in 2007 to honor the distinguished achievement of Risk Management and Insurance scholars who are within 10 years of award of the PH.D. degree. Applicants should have a significant number of high quality RMI publications relative to the length of their academic career, as the award is intended as a research award. This is a non-monetary award and will be awarded in years when an exceptional candidate is identified. A certificate will be presented at the Award’s luncheon at ARIA’s Annual Meeting. Please send nominations (including a vita) to Greg Niehaus (gregn@moore.sc.edu) by March 15, 2021 at the latest.

2021 Annual Meeting Goes VIRTUAL

After careful deliberation, the ARIA Board of Directors has decided that the annual meeting scheduled to take place August 2-4 in Denver, Colorado will be a virtual meeting.

We regret that we will not have the opportunity to meet and connect with our colleagues in person. However, given the effect of COVID-19 on University budgets and members’ willingness to travel, and to ensure a safe meeting, the board decided that a virtual meeting is the best option. We will continue to post meeting updates on the listserv and encourage members to submit proposals for ARIA 2021. Find more information here.

2021 ARIA Annual Meeting Call for Papers due February 22, 2021

Arden Solutions  began serving as ARIA’s Executive Office on January 1, 2021 and ARIA will have a new relationship with The Institutes as a strategic partner.
