East Hollywood Neighborhood Council Elections will be held on Tuesday March 16th. You can request your mail in ballot starting on Friday, January 15th and the deadline for requesting your mail in ballot is March 9th. Request your mail in ballot:

O'Farrell Announces Round 2 of Small Business Grant Program

Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell allocated $1 million of discretionary funding to kickstart the grant program last July to assist small businesses in the 13th District pay their bills during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. This specific funding historically would have been utilized for other purposes such as public infrastructure projects.

The program will be administered in partnership with EWDD.  

**Applications will be accepted starting Thursday, January 28, at 8AM (online), through February 4 at 5PM. A link to the application can be found here***

**NOTE: Businesses that applied but did not qualify for the first round of funding last year due to the revenue requirements will be automatically entered into this next phase of grant funding. An email will be sent to those businesses to alert them of their status in the program.

The City’s Economic and Workforce Development Department is the program manager and will require that applicants:
  • Must have an established business in the 13th District
  • Must have “active” status with the CA Secretary of State
  • Must provide the required application documents (current BTRC, W-9, etc.)
  • Must have an annual gross revenue of up to $5M, and have an established commercial location.
  • Economically affected by COVID-19
