Welcome to The Diversity Drop, the Department of Natural Resource Ecology and Management’s new weekly bite-sized educational message on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Each Tuesday this semester the NREM DEI Committee will send one of these short communications to help build a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive department. Some weeks the message will go to everyone in NREM and some weeks they will be geared to faculty and staff.
These short messages do not replace the longer, deeper conversations we need to have, but are weekly tips, definitions, and reminders that we hope will help enable those deeper conversations. All we ask is that you take a few seconds each week to read and reflect on the message. Our first "drop" will come next week and every Tuesday thereafter!
