Be a dreamer

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him. But we know these things because God has revealed them to us by His Spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 - New Living Translation

Each day ahead of you has the potential for the fulfilling of the saying, "Today is the tomorrow you dreamed of yesterday!" Are you someone who uses a calendar or diary? A diary is very much a representation of the year ahead of you. If you scan forward through it, you see days with events and activities or days as yet blank and waiting for things to be scheduled. These are opportunities. In Christ you can be seeing possibilities in those opportunities! In moments of prayer, worship and devotions you can be receiving visions from God for special opportunities in your future. Jer.29:11.

Noah heard from God who directed him on what to do. Noah got the vision. He saw in his mind's eye a vessel of salvation he was to build. He recognised it would save his family and ultimately all mankind. Noah let God give him the details he'd need to fulfil that vision. God even showed Noah the exact dimensions of the boat. Noah must have had real problems to overcome as he worked on that boat. He didn't let this stop him - step by step he received heaven's design solutions. He built diligently, perseveringly with his vision always in mind. Gen.6:9-22.

In the presence of God, you can get a vision for your year ahead. Take time to see a future where God is getting glory in your life! Take time to receive a vision of it. Take time to see how the vision is to be built and entered into! You can get a vision for things that will lead to a glorious, victorious future that you can work towards bringing into reality. Ro.15:13, Psa.84:5.

In prayer, let God give you vision!
