As major division sponsor for our Senior Competition, the team at Ryde Building Company have been great supporters of our club for many, many years. Woodside Nippers Update
SLSWA Sunsmart Country Carnival – Bunbury
There was a small team of 8 Woodside Nippers that travelled over to Bunbury Back Beach for the Country Carnival. Conditions at Back Beach are quite different to what we are used to at Middleton Beach!
Saturday morning we had the Little Nippers Competition – We only had one little nipper and he did really well in the difficult conditions in the swim, boards and then the flags. Saturday afternoon started with the March past where we had our youngest competitor as the flag bearer and he carried it with pride. This was followed with the beach events, sprint relays, flags and sprints where the nippers boys and girls did a great job.

Sunday 31st January – Muttonbird Beach
This Sunday morning the events will be held at Muttonbird Beach for Seniors, Youth and Nippers. If you haven’t been to Muttonbird Beach before, please be aware that the beach is 4 wheel drive access only. All other vehicles are advised to park up the top and walk down the stairs. We recommend arriving 30 minutes before we kick start.

Surf Kids Starts 7th February
If you have a 3-5 year old that you want to get more confident in the surf, enrol now for this 6 week program.
Starting on Sunday 7th January, meet outside the surf club boat shed at 9:15am for a 9:30am start. Kelly Parker, qualified swimming instructor, will run the program and the cost of the course is $70, to enrol email the form below to nippers@albanysurfclub.com.au or admin@albanysurfclub.com

Patrol Notices
Please be aware that over recent patrols there has been multiple reports of theft on and around the beach area. We have also been advised that any member of the public that has had bags or keys stolen are to remain at their vehicle or location until the police arrive. We encourage all patrolling members to remain vigilant.

SunSmart Country Carnival 2021 – Bunbury

2021 Cadet Camp
The 2021 Cadet Camp is set for Friday February 12th (after school) to Sunday February 14th at Camp Quaranup.
This year’s camp is set to be action packed, challenging and fun. The camp is about team building, personal challenges, and fun. Camp activities can include team games, yoga, SUPing, snorkelling, jetty jumping, swimming, spotlight and more activities.

We’re EXCITED as have dates for Let’s Go Surfing – Middleton Beach
Disabled Surfers Association’s newest branch, DSA Great Southern (DSAGS) will hold four events in 2021.
Saturdays – January 16th, February 20th, March 13th, April 17th, in the water 10am to 11:30/12 noon followed by presentations and a free BBQ.
