Dear Members and Friends of Media Presbyterian Church,

We hope you are doing well during this time.  As we navigate this unique moment with quarantines, closures and irregular rhythms --- it is our calling to share the Love of Jesus Christ.  With that intention, MPC continues to share some devotionals with you.  These devotionals have been written by staff, members and friends of MPC.   We pray that these devotionals will be a blessing to you, and remind us all of God's great love.  Be well, we love you.

Today's devotional is from Sheila Chellappa.

Psalms 23:4

Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for thou art with me...

This verse was very real to me when I was going through a rather difficult time in my life. The Lord held my hand and walked me through, and I am so grateful for his guidance and presence. As difficult as the situation may be, if we look up to our God, and lay our burdens on Him, He will be right beside us, and hold us through our journey. Fear and anxiety are very normal emotions to situations, just like the disciples felt on the Sea of Galilee. Let us remember that He is waiting and is there to give us the strength we need to face anything.
