Dear Family and Friends,
I hope and pray that 2021 is going well for you and your families - though it may be looking different than expected we can continue to place our trust in the Lord and His plan for our lives.
I want to thank you all for your continued love, prayer, patience, and support during these past couple of months. As decisions have been made between myself, AT3, and Converge - we have decided that I will be serving in Minnesota for my second year with AT3. We came to this conclusion because I need to experience personal healing and am unable to access the necessary resources in London. Though AT3 is a transatlantic program, its main focus is to build up leaders and help apprentices experience spiritual growth so that we - as apprentices - can be holistically healthy to serve in ministry for the long term. I am grateful for the guidance and support that I am receiving from AT3 and Converge as God takes me down this journey of healing.
So what will this year be looking like for me? That is a great question, and I am eager to share the plan with you all! As well as focusing on personal healing, I will be continuing to serve with AT3, my studies of Biblical Counseling, and to serve with the local church.
As AT3 continues to grow as an organization, we are expanding our communication across the globe and teaching people what it truly looks like to follow Christ in a post Christian society. Part of this communication includes creating a series of videos. If you recall, I assisted in creating the first video of this series (here is the link https://youtu.be/_EU5Lz-LZ_s); it was such an amazing opportunity to be able to use my artistic skills to further the Good News of the Kingdom of God! I am excited to continue working with AT3 in helping this vision grow. As well as this communication project, I will also be traveling to different universities across the country to share my personal experiences with AT3 and be available for students to ask me questions concerning the program. God has grown me immensely within the past year; I am eager to share these experiences with others.
Concerning schooling, I am continuing my studies of Biblical Counseling. I am currently taking a course titled “Helping Relationships”, which is growing me in actively listening, empathizing, appreciating, and loving others. These courses have stretched me and continue to stretch me in both personal growth and relational growth. I highly value these courses and am grateful for the opportunity to continue in them as I still feel called to becoming a therapist and desire to have this Biblical foundation.
In serving with the local church, I will be part of the Refuge Church community based in Willmar, Minnesota. If you attend there, you will be seeing me around again:) We are exploring ways I might assist the church staff with tech projects, administration for staff, children's and youth programs, missions work, and connecting with people during these Covid times. If you have any questions concerning my involvement, please feel free to reach out to myself or David Lanning at Refuge Church. I will let you know more as my AT3 component of serving the local church gets better definition.
To address finances, I again want to thank you for your continual support - both prayerfully and financially. Though 2021 is not as I had planned (God had a better plan in mind as usual:)), I will continue to have expenses - they will just be looking a bit different; for example, I will be using my funding for expenses such as traveling to universities to do work with AT3 and local ministry. Again, thank you so much for being on my team and supporting me through this journey!

Please be praying for me and my family as God is doing spiritual heart surgery on me and healing my soul! I am grateful to be on this journey of healing - though I know at times it will be difficult; I know that God will use it for the benefit of the Kingdom and allow me to love and serve others on a deeper level.
