Good Morning HUMC,
After a lot of prayer and indecision, I made the decision to not have worship on Sunday January 31st. As many of you have already heard, my wife and I have contracted the COVID-19 virus. Dawn is currently not symptomatic, but I am experiencing flu-like symptoms. Because I was in worship on Sunday, I feel that it is the best decision to not hold worship this week in the event that I may have spread this virus to any who attended. I pray that I am just being over cautious. Worship is schuduled to continue on February 7th at this time.
I thank you for your prayers and know that we are praying for you all as well. As with all things, God is present. He walks with us in all our hard times. He is with us now.
May God continue to bless the people and the ministries of Highlands United Methodist Church!
