Dear LCA Families,

Our Eagle Gala is this Friday night, January 29, and I invite your active participation and your prayers for this annual fundraising event! At most independent Christian schools, tuition alone does not cover the full cost of education. The Eagle Gala provides LCA with the essential operating dollars that bridge the GAP between our tuition revenue and the full cost of providing a quality Christ-centered education for our students. This year, we need to raise $120,000 to cover the GAP. If 100 families donated $1,200, that would satisfy our gap, and then donations above and beyond would allow us – like last year – to make investments for the new school year.

Did you know last year’s Gala raised almost $200,000? Once we satisfied the GAP, we invested in chapel renovations for both campuses, HVAC units for our Rose Campus, and laptops. This year, after we reach our $120K goal, we plan to invest money into three areas – iPads for our elementary campus, classroom furniture for our junior high and high school, and laptops for our Rose Campus.

Every gift makes a difference. You can make a single payment or monthly installments. We offer three easy options: Text to give at 859-600-6625, donate online via the Eagle Gala website, or mail a check to the Advancement Office, 450 W. Reynolds Rd., Lexington, KY 40503.

Mask Reminder

Ace would like to remind everyone that we would appreciate our families wearing masks and not gaiters to winter sporting events. Thank you for your cooperation!

Next Thursday, families can anticipate receiving instructions on how to finalize enrollment for their child(ren) for the 2021-2022 school year.

You can bid on auction items through Friday, January 29 at 11:00pm.

Bags must be picked up at the Rose Campus at the 6th Grade Academy Entrance on Friday from 9am - 2pm.

Preschool & Elementary Dress Code Reminder
Just a quick reminder about our dress code, specifically to outerwear, leggings and hair for both girls and boys. Please look over the PS and TK-5^th Grade Student/Parent Handbooks to make sure that your student is adhering to our dress code policies. Thank you for the support you give to our faculty and staff through your prayers and encouraging emails. We are extremely blessed to be partnering with you! As you know, this year, our Eagle Gala is virtual and the online auction bidding is currently open. Some of these items include owning a portion of a race horse, spa treatments, gift cards to numerous restaurants, reserved carline parking spaces and so much more. You can access the online auction by clicking HERE. On Friday, you can join the live virtual Eagle Gala from 7pm-8pm. Would you please consider supporting this event? Once we have satisfied the GAP, your generous contributions will be invested to promote your child’s learning environment through the purchase of classroom iPads. This technological tool enhances our math and literacy programs, increases students’ collaboration and critical thinking skills and allows for more creativity within group projects. Good Afternoon 6^th Grade Academy and Junior High Families,

I wish that we could be together in person like we were last year, but I know the team has done a great job of putting together a special virtual program this year. Like so many other events this year, our annual Eagle Gala will look a little different. This year’s Eagle Gala will be a virtual and will take place Friday, January 29 at 7:00pm. I would like to personally invite you and your family to take part in this special event that is so important in helping us carry out our mission, “to equip and nurture students to fulfill God’s calling on their lives through Christ-centered education.” Once our GAP is filled, the high school would like to invest in furniture for our classrooms and laptops.
