Dear Capital City Families,
Our annual Black History Month Celebration is Thursday, February 25 from 5-6pm and we would love for you to be part of this special virtual event! This year's theme is "The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity" taken from the Association for the Study of African American Life and History.
Below are a few ways we’d love for you to join the celebration:
-
Share a family photo or artwork
-
Record a video about what the theme (“The Black Family”) means to you
-
Send a video about a favorite family recipe, story, poem, song or dance
-
