CITY WILL EXPAND IN-PERSON SERVICES

Beginning February 1st, the City of Boise will expand in-person service offerings. Residents are strongly encouraged to use virtual services whenever possible, but in-person services will be available for those who need this type of access. Anyone entering a city facility will be required to wear a face-covering that properly covers the mouth and nose and maintain appropriate physical distance.

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

This week, the City of Boise is tracking two bills at the Legislature – House Bill 45, which would prevent local governments from ensuring the rental housing market serves the best interest of both renters and landlords, and Senate Bill 1021, which would prevent municipalities from keeping up with increased city service needs.

READ UPDATE

City of Boise public meetings will be hosted in a hybrid meeting setting – offering both remote and in-person attendance opportunities. Details can be found at cityofboise.org/virtual-meetings.

This format allows applicants, neighbors and residents to participate either virtually or in-person. In-person attendance is limited and those in attendance must comply with physical distancing rules. We encourage participants who have access to technology to continue to join the meeting virtually to ensure that in-person attendance is accessible to those that do not have access to technology.
