PLEASE CHECK YOUR MAILBOX ON YOUR WAY OUT OF CHURCH

THE WOMEN OF ETERNAL HOPE thank all who purchased items in our Member Only Mini Bazaar.  We raised over $1200 for the general fund through your support of this event.

THANK YOU to everyone that helped take down Christmas decorations.

FLOWER CHART  A master flower chart is now posted.  Cost is $15.00 for each week.  Cash or checks payable to WOEH can be placed in Donna Neumann’s church mail box.

THE LWML UNBAKE SALE may be just the thing.  Here’s how it works.  Instead of baking for the sale or buying at the sale, figure out what you would spend to bake or buy and donate that amount for LWML MITES.  (any amount would be appreciated).  Drop your donation in the large mite box in the narthex or mail it to Donna Neumann.  Make checks payable to Women of Eternal Hope.  Please have your donations in by Jan 31.  Thank you for serving the Lord with gladness.

SNOW SHOVELING – if you are able to help shovel sidewalks please contact the Board of Stewardship.

2021 CALENDARS are available for purchase for $8 from the Senior Youth.  Please talk to Andy if you would like one.  They make great gifts for Christmas!

PRAYER REQUESTS - If you have any prayer requests, please let Pastor, Andy or the church office know.

In Our Prayers:
  • Liz Cameron
  •  Melissia Dramstad
  • We have been asked to pray for Deanna.  She is a fellow Lutheran here in the cities.  She has had horrible back and foot pain for the last few years.  The doctors have not been able to help.
  •  LaVeta Payette's brother Bob, who will have surgery to remove a spot on his tongue this week.  Please pray that the procedure goes well and that tests on the spot come back clear.
  • Update on Jeni Pelton's friends with COVID - Her friends family has returned home, but both of the parents are still feeling the effects of COVID and need assistance to come home.  Please continue to pray for healing and thanks that they are able to return home.
  •  Please keep the family of Brad Strandquist in your prayers.  Brad's father, Bill, passed away from his battle with cancer early this morning.  Brad was able to be there with his mother Gloria as Bill passed from this world of tears into the place prepared for him by his Savior, Jesus Christ.
  • Joni Amundson’s neighbor Bob Bell has been hospitalized since Christmas Eve with pancreatitis complicated by gallstones.  Prayers for healing and relief from pain.
Happy Birthday To: January: 19th Lori Bierbaum, Ed Dramstad,                  26th Joel Shaffer, 27th Tim Meer, Kathy Shaffer, 30th Mike Baird

STEWARDSHIP  It is our duty and joy as believers in Christ to spread the holy Word of salvation so that others can enjoy eternity with us.  To obey this command requires money.  Our churches and those who serve in the church need funds for ministry.  Missionaries must be trained and sent into the field.  Television and radio programs require money so the gospel can reach those who otherwise would not receive it.  Food and clothing must be provided to the poor so that they will be able to be receptive to the good news of the Gospel.  How are they to receive this money?  The Apostle Paul wrote, “On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper…” (1 Corinthians 16:2).
