Greetings from the farm! We've had a wonderfully abundant Summer Harvest, and despite our peaches dealing with the erratic winter we had (meaning they were barely dormant at all), the trees have produced a nice crop. Although the fruits are as sweet as ever, the harvest is somewhat smaller than usual, so it looks like they will be reaching the end of their season fairly soon.
Tree-ripened, hand-picked, organic and grown in-season, it takes just one bite to notice the complete difference in taste, texture and aroma, from most peaches available commercially. Nowadays, many fruit varieties have been bred for their huge size, rich colour, and long shelf-life, but as a result, have lost the incredible flavour, high nutritional content and wonderful eating experience of eating that the older varieties like those we grow offer!
