Yay, it's FINALLY here...

Rest assured that we will avoid sending you crab and instead, you'll have the fresh WILD Steelhead, a SUPER SPECIAL and rare selection that we are honored to have this week... more on that below.👇🏽)

What we are offering is fresh COOKED, cleaned local Dungeness.

A single share will be a 1/2 body. If you would like to add extra, we have a limited supply that can be added from our CSF store.

We understand that people have different preferences when it comes to Crab. We ask for your patience, but also welcome your feedback (vote below! 🗳🦀) Today we are cooking the Crab. In the future, it may be raw - live cleaned. We hope you can enjoy it as it comes and look forward to hearing how you all like it. We felt like sending it to everyone cooked for starters, was the safest best. This way, it will also keep a couple days if you would't have gotten around to cooking it on Tuesday - live cleaned Crab is super perishable. 

If you'd like to reheat your Crab, we love giving it a toss in oil, butter and herbs and finishing it with a roast in the oven (recipe below - less cooking time for your pre-cooked Crab) or under the broiler for about 5 mins. You can also steam or boil it for just 3-4 minutes. You can safely reheat Crab for up to 4 days after it has been cooked.

Two Meal per Week Members... Wild Steelhead

Another first for H&H and our Club members - what we have this week is fresh, WILD Steelhead caught by the Quinault Indian Nation of Taholah, WA at the mouth of the river. Please click the button below to learn more about the QIN Steelhead. 

We were contacted Sunday and asked to do a favor by buying this wild Steelhead. The Quinault people are allowed to catch it and depend on it as a huge part of their livelihood. Their catch has been abundant this year but they have had trouble finding buyers due to Covid. When the truck arrived this morning, we were thrilled with how beautiful it is! 

Quinault fish are caught on Short openings, 100% iced boats and immediate processing makes the fish quality
absolutely outstanding. We are certain you'll agree and honored to help this sovereign nation in this way. 

You can cook it anyway you like to cook salmon. 

We strongly encourage 1 Meal per Week Members who may like to try this product to add some from our store as it is GORGEOUS and we have plenty!
