Dear friends and family,
Thank you for your ongoing support! It's humbling to be the recipients of so much kindness, love and prayers. Praise God for each of you!
We wanted to give you an opportunity to pray for our family and the ministry.
After an extended stay in Santiago, we move THIS WEEK to the coast (to a town called Concón, just north of Viña del Mar)!!! We are in the final stretch and we wanted to ask for prayer in the following ways:
Pray for:
- paperwork! We need several documents issued by a notary or the local police that allow us to leave our current apartment and then travel into a different region to move into our new apartment.
- utilities and all the small things likely to be forgotten! We don't have "valid" national ID cards (see below) and we anticipate some hiccups, since that is typically a requirement for internet installation, for example.
- transition to CEMIPRE, Iglesia La Trinidad (Trinity Church) and our new community. All activities are 100% virtual, so building community might be tricky.
- calm hearts, calm minds! Moving is challenging, right? Moving during COVID in another country is interesting. Pray for eyes to see each challenge as an "adventure," as one friend encouraged us to consider.
- VISAS! Briefly, David's was denied and then approved. Danielle's and the boys are still pending. We need to pay the fee for David, so at least he can have a valid ID card. Pray we can do this in our new location, without trips back and forth to Santiago.
