Plan your next adventure.

Turn that empty diary into an exciting, rewarding, challenging and fun year ahead. Although we might have to stay local for now, it won't be forever and if your calendar is full, you'll have fun packed adventures to look forward to!

Some ideas to get you started.

1. Munro Bagging in Scotland. It will take you a while to get through all 282 peaks, so planning some short breaks to 'bag' the best hills is sure to be at the top of your list! Chart your progress with the Munro & Corbett Chart, and enjoy planning your routes from The Munros, The Complete Collection of Maps. Special offers here.

2. The Lake District; Home to England's highest peak and a must see for its jaw dropping natural beauty. But where to start? We have put together map sets for the keen explorer to plan a fell adventure.
The Ultramap Lake District Set and the Superwalker Map Set
Both on special offer!
3. Snowdonia National Park; The historic Snowdon Mountain Railway climbs to Snowdon, Wales's highest peak at 1085m. But if hillwalking is not on the cards (we have playing cards for that!), there are lots of trails and beautiful coastline to explore!

Map of the week.

The Pentland Hills, lying south of Edinburgh, has over 100km of waymarked paths, including challenging hill walks and routes suitable for families.

Featuring a clever orientation of grid north (to get the whole of the map on one sheet), the HARVEY map of the whole of the Pentland Hills is a detailed map for hillwalkers available at two different scales, 1:25,000 (Superwalker Map) and 1:40,000 (Ultramap).

Caerketton Hill and Allermuir Hill provide panoramic views over Edinburgh and the Forth. Other notable hills include Scald Law and Carnethy Hill.
