We have just released the 2019 Iowa St. Pepin and it is available only at the Winery. We have been making wine from St. Pepin for about 15 years however this is the first time, we’ve offered it as a varietal. Some people will say it resembles an off-dry Riesling because of its fruit and floral character. We recommend that you serve this wine well chilled. (read more)

In the Vineyard
Maintenance on Vineyard Equipment Continues
We have a little more work to do to finish our major maintenance project on the harvester and we will wrap up that project when parts arrive. We are organizing our Safety Data Sheets and the books we keep on the chemicals we spray. We will help bottling Oskyfizzante® Iowa White on Tuesday and 2020 Iowa Brianna on Friday. Then, we will do the preventative maintenance on our pruner. Finally, we will order trellis supplies and posts for the vineyard.

Cellar Activities
We Bottle Oskyfizzante® Iowa White on Tuesday and 2020 Iowa Brianna on Friday
This is a big week for bottling. We will bottle Oskyfizzante Iowa White on Tuesday and 2020 Iowa Brianna on Friday. When we bottle the Oskyfizzante wines, we have to wait for a day or so to apply the label and capsule. This is because both the bottle and the wine are quite cold (they hold the carbonation better when cold) and the adhesive on the label won’t stick to the bottle. (read more)

Masks are required in the Winery. Wine Tasting, Wine-by-the Glass, and Food Service are NOT available at Tassel Ridge Winery at this time. The Winery is open for To-Go only purchases of bottles or cases of wine and pre-packaged items like jelly, dipping oils, sauces, and cheeses for off-premises consumption only.
Tassel Ridge Winery can ship any of our wines directly to you in Iowa, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, Missouri, Texas, and DC.
