What inspired you to enter the law profession?
Coming from a family of laborers, particularly agricultural workers, I have always been concerned with the treatment of workers. Growing up, my father shared the impact of Cesar Chavez and our obligation to be change makers for our community. I carried that with me. I was inspired to go to law school and further my education to help me help others.
The Contra Costa County High School Mock Trial Needs Attorney Volunteers!
The 40th Annual Contra Costa County High School Mock Trial is looking for practicing and retired attorneys to volunteer a few hours as attorney scorers. Unlike past years, this season your expertise will be crucial in the virtual courtroom

Coordinated by the Contra Costa County Office of Education (CCCOE), volunteers will watch and score the proceedings via Zoom while the high school students, acting as witnesses and attorneys, try an entire case in a timed exchange.

This year's case, People v. Croddy, is the trial of Lee Croddy who hosts a popular YouTube channel called The Right Choice of News. (Program flyer here.)
