If no additional snow days, the 100th day of school is February 8!
January 2021
Our students and community benefit every day from the countless hours devoted by our Board of Education members. These public servants are elected by local constituents and do not receive compensation for their tireless efforts.
During the week of February 14 – 20, communities across the state of Missouri will honor the dedicated service of their local boards of education during School Board Recognition Week. Pictured, is our current Board of Education members that will also be serving during the 2021-22 school year.
We can not say thank you enough to these individuals for caring for our Wildcats!
Thank you to Sharaya Seymour, junior at CHS, for creating this image!
Thank you Freedom Bank!
Freedom Bank has generously sponsored the purchase of weather radio stations. One device has been placed at CMS and one at CHS. In addition to providing important weather information to the National Weather Service, the radio stations will also be used by our science department. Science teachers plan to use the information collected when teaching students about electromagnetic frequencies and meteorology.
Wildcats of all ages are encouraged to bring a water bottle every day to school!
In an effort to increase sanitation on campus, drinking fountains are currently turned off. All students have access to the water filling stations available throughout the school buildings.
Our 2020 Mr. & Miss Merry Christmas candidates have worked together to raise $9,457.38 for the Barry County Share Your Christmas program.
On Friday, January 15, Levi Maher and Kyah Saffold were crowned Mr. and Miss Merry Christmas. Pictured, Mrs. Jill LeCompte accepts the donation on behalf of the Share Your Christmas program.
