When Ana Thallas shared at Pray On MLK, I immediately sensed that Jesus was doing something so much greater than I expected. Ana Thallas is the mother of Isabella who was shot and killed at the ballpark apartments this past summer. She shared about her daughter and the memorial that was established called "Bella Joy Gardens".  As she shared she was very much still feeling the pain of her loss. And as tears were rolling off her cheeks I could feel the Spirit of the Lord in the room and that her tears were God's tears and that those tears would soon become our tears for Ana and the death of God's beloved child.  She then shared that this was the first time that she had been back to Church since the death of her daughter. She had been touched by Jesus and was grateful to unexpectedly find herself back in a Church and finding comfort from the Lord. As we prayed for her I could sense that Jesus was doing his healing work within her and in everyone in the room. Thank God that the Church is a place for the broken-hearted to heal! Everything about this moment was unplanned and yet I know it was always in God's plan!  Thank you for being apart of it.
