Here we go again...
Dear Friends and Family,
2021. Another year has begun. It was interesting to reflect on what we were all thinking in Jan 2020, just 1 year ago - the pre-Covid world! What a year! As we look into 2021 we have much excitement, hope and yet a realism, that no-one can really plan into the future. Restrictions in Hungary continue, all in bed by 8pm (or at least we have to be in our homes) secondary schools are all online, and masks are seen everywhere. However we're grateful that we can still meet with people (max 10) and that churches can still meet in person subject to keeping distancing rules. Thankfully as I write the numbers are falling. But like many places until the vaccine is widely available, we don't see much change coming.
It's difficult to plan for the year. Personal summer plans, youth camps and how to deliver training are all questions we struggle with. But we are grateful to God for health, that we have been through Covid ourselves, and that none of our close friends or family have passed away this past year. We're also grateful that our lives and our plans for 2021 are all in God's hands. We continue to commit our ways to Him and ask Him to continue to direct our paths (Pv 3,5-6).

Praise God for …
- A restful Christmas break, opportunities for catching up with family even if only in small groups or on Zoom.
- A very encouraging ACORN prayer evening on Zoom, where more than 60 British and Hungarian friends and supporters took part, praying in breakout rooms.
- Our church and home group deciding to meet in person again and the boost that this is for our souls
- David's life as he turned 15 on New Year's Eve, found a great friend in Szilárd, enjoys youth group and is coping ok with online school.

- Réka writing her national school entrance exam on Sat. 23rd Jan. and for wisdom deciding which schools to apply to.
- 24h Core training weekend 29-30th Jan - still on Zoom, please pray for perseverance and creativity with being online; both of us doing teaching sessions.
- 30th Jan: Andy recording key-note preach for National Youth Conference
- CORE training open days via Zoom during Feb and March, as we try and make the course more widely known. Busy weekends for us as a family.
