Hey NWC Edgewood,
I've been reading in 1 Corinthians 12, about being the Body of Christ. We as a church are a unique and individual expression of His Body and each of us are members of that Body. What strikes me here is the attitude of each part of the body. You can't be arrogant and think you're the most important, that's not how a body works. Yet, at the same time, you also can't be so self-abasing or have such low self-esteem that you won't engage in your purpose! We need to have a right view of ourselves in context.
Essentially, we need God's perspective of who we are and what we're to do. I think you may hear more on this subject on Sunday.... But this is how I'm praying for each of you today; that you would draw close to Him and catch His concept of you are and your purpose. We are designed for great things, together!
