Christmas is past and the New Year 2021 has come in. It’s time to look forward to what 2021 will bring. We can only hope and pray that this will be a much better year than 2020. We all have the ability to work at making it happen.
Bountiful Harvest ended 2020 on a very strong note. Donations of food were just astounding. Monetary donations were there to fill the gaps on needs. Volunteers were plentiful and so giving and hard working. It was amazing. The kids Christmas store was packed with wonderful new toys and gifts.
We have been adding at least 6 new clients a week. Times are hard and not only are we are there for them, but the entire of Livingston County is also. THANK YOU SO MUCH RESIDENTS OF LIVINGSTON COUNTY, you are WONDERFUL.
Big supports in the community have not only been the residents but the Girl Scouts, Cheryl Stockwell Academy, BAS (Hornung Elementary, Hawkins Elementary, Scranton, Maltby, Spencer,
Small Hands-Big Hearts
and the restaurants have been very generous also.
Brighton Ford played Santa to us this year, they gave us a generous donation and Santa came to the pantry also.
in Brighton has once again held the Program and the response on the double days were staggering. We have not received the total as of yet but I know it will be awesome. You are the most generous community.
We are proud to announce that we now have a Pet Section. One for Cats and one for Dogs. Please be assured we will have food for your pet family members.
We are also looking for office help: answer phones, take orders, scheduling, making copies, etc. We need two volunteers to man the phones, etc. Tuesday through Friday 9 until noon and 1 to 4pm. Our you can opt for the entire day 9 until 4. The 1st and 3rd Saturdays we need office help from 7:30 am until noon.
For volunteering, go to Sign Up Genius, put Bountiful Harvest Inc in the search area and it will take you to our page. You can sign up for the day, time and position of your choice. We especially need help in the afternoon Tuesday through Friday. Drivers are needed for Thursday and Friday afternoons.
There were so many who did so much for the pantry during the holidays. We have, I know, missed mentioning some of you. Please, please check out our website and our Facebook page. We have put up a lot of pictures of donations and donors. We love you so much.
As we move forward into 2021, please know that we are here to help those in need in the County. Right now, there are a lot of families hurting that are normally not in need. The one place you can depend on for help is Bountiful Harvest. We Love You.
THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS
Have a Blessed Month

EVENTS
By Shannon Egenolf, 248-342-2131
Happy New Year! Hopefully things have turned a corner and we will soon be able to get back to normal.
I am currently creating a fundraising committee to help not only come up with different events, but also to help run events. I hope to start monthly meetings later in January, either in person or via Zoom. If you are interested in joining please contact me.
I have an idea in the works – so please don’t forget to keep checking our Facebook and website for up-to-date information.
Noreen Owens Photography has extended their fundraiser to run until February 14th. You pay $99 for a family photo session (worth $500) – all proceeds go to Bountiful Harvest.
Thanks for all your continued support! If anyone has any great fundraiser ideas, wants to volunteer or wants to sponsor a fundraiser for Bountiful Harvest, please contact me.

Chez Vonz News!
By Michelle Benser, Chez Vonz Manager
We hope you had a Merry Christmas. The Christmas Store was a tremendous success. Thanks to Express Professionals Employment Agency, Alive Family Church, Maltby Intermediate, Hornung Elementary, Scranton Middle School and Spencer School plus many more, we have a very large selection of gifts for the children. There were over 471 children who had a wonderful Christmas. THANK YOU!
Men's, women's and children's winter boots and shoes are still being accepted at this time.
We are now back to having the CLOTHING STORE set up. We are allowing ONE CLIENT at a time to come in and shop for clothing, shoes, etc. You MUST wear a mask and do a COVID screening (not test) before entering. Please be diligent with how long you spend in picking out clothing as we can only allow 1 person in at a time. You will be asked to leave and come back another time if you take too long. We are extremely busy this time of year and with COVID it is even harder.
Winter clothing is also being accepted now. Please bring them to the pantry Tuesday through Friday 10 am until 4 pm, Saturday 9 am until 11:30 am. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE DONATIONS OUTSIDE. The animals or the weather will get to them and they will end up in the dumpster. If you cannot come during our regular hours, please call and we will work with you on receiving the donations,
You are so appreciated. Thank you so much for supporting our Clothing Ministry.
Thank you!
