Greetings MCF Family and Friends!
I’m not sure about you, but life here at MCF has been AMAZINGLY crazy!
With the beginning of a new year, we have been able to celebrate much of the newness of life!
A new semester’s focus on the life of Jesus using the crowd funded The Chosen for our Sunday Night Study. We are also taking a new approach to Wednesday Night Worship by going through a slow reflective read of Matthew’s Gospel (check out TheBibleProject for a guided overview). Both of these experiences are addressing not only our need to know Jesus but giving us an opportunity TO know Jesus better.
In March, MCF will be experiencing a new type of Spring Break; since MSU is not scheduling a Spring Break due to COVID precautions, MCF will be taking a Spring Retreat to a large spacious lake house in the area (BIG thanks to the Taylor family).
Our Spring Mission will be tackling some projects around the MCF Campus House … looking forward to creating a new butterfly garden along the back property line!
That’s not all that is new for MCF. MCF is entering a new season of ministry to Murray State by bringing Monica West on staff in a blended position: Associate Minister of Women’s Discipleship and also as our Administrative Assistant. Monica has served on MCF’s Board of Directors for several years now and has come into a season of life to give and participate even more in God’s work here at Murray State. While she is salaried for the Admin position, Monica will be fundraising for the Associate Minister position. Please consider partnering with her as she partners with MCF in ministering to students. To learn more about how to give to the Women's Ministry fund, check out the "Giving to Murray Christian Fellowship" chart below.
