Does it look like we're moving?

At the end of this month we will be moving to a new, cheaper office space. Since we--especially Raina--are spending more time with our farming project in eastern Bulgaria, particularly in the summer months, we decided that we could do with less space here in Sofia and that we needed to find a place that was cheaper to heat. In the winter months, when we are in the office most days, sometimes our monthly heating bill has been more than our monthly rent.

We've found that one of the best ways to find a place to rent is walking around the neighborhood where you'd like to be--you know, the "Joshua and Caleb approach." This morning I signed the lease on an office that is about a ten-minute walk from our current office.

Back in December Laura Eller, our Europe Area Director, wrote to ask if I would be getting a prayer letter text in to our office for the January/February batch. I wrote back with something like a sigh and that I probably wouldn't manage it by the deadline. Then she made an offer I couldn't refuse: that she would write it for me. So that's Laura's handiwork below. (To download an easier-to-read pdf file you can click on the image of it below or click here.) I told Laura that my proudly 91-year-old mother was really going to like this prayer letter! (And since she's on the snail mail list, my mother's already read it, and yes, she liked it very much.)

Many thanks for your prayer and interest in our ministry--
