Our friends at Open Works, a makerspace in Baltimore, became interested in doing some “social” good for the people of Maryland at the start of the pandemic last year. This took the form of a collaborative manufacturing effort called Makers Unite. The latest project, a “pay-it-forward” desk, is meant to function as a desk for kids that are currently learning from home. ShopBot's Bill Young explains the start of Makers Unite and provides more details about the current project in this new video.
Were you unable to attend our Creating a 3D Chess Set from 2D Components session last month? Never fear! The materials from this training are now available on our website.
Are you interested in running a ShopBot training from your own shop for other ShopBotters? Send us an email, share your idea with us, and let's see if we can get you on the calendar!
