Aloha Fellow Elks,

We have elections this month and will be making appropriate COVID accommodations to ensure that you can exercise your franchise as an Elk and that you will have access to the information necessary to cast an informed vote.

Below is the schedule for nominations and balloting.

February 9-15—Nominations. Members may nominate candidates at the February 9 Lodge meeting or submit nominations via US Mail, email, or drop off at the Lodge. Please email to gwest@elkslodge616.org. The deadline for nominations is February 15 at 4PM.

February 17—Candidate statements due by 5PM. Statements must be submitted as a Word or PDF document to the Secretary’s email—gwest@elkslodge616.org. Statements must be no longer than 500 words. Statements will be printed exactly as they are received.

February 18–Candidate statements distributed to members via email blast. Hard copies will be available at Front Desk.

February 22–Balloting at the Lodge, 7AM-7PM. You must wear a mask to enter the Lodge. You must present your valid membership card to vote.

February 23–Run off elections if necessary. Balloting at the Lodge, 7AM-6PM. Only members who voted on February 22 may vote in the runoff. Winners must receive 50% of votes cast +
