PHYSICS OPPORTUNITIES
#1 APS BRIDGE PROGRAM
Deadline: March 31st

Are you an underrepresented minority student (Black, Latinx, and Indigenous) looking to pursue a graduate degree in physics?

The APS Bridge Program aims to provide you with the necessary tools and resources to achieve success in a graduate program. This begins through the encouragement of holistic admissions practices during the Bridge application review process.

Admittance into a Bridge Program will provide you with a network of individuals that are committed to student success and increased diversity and inclusion in the field.

You are eligible for the Bridge Program if you meet the following requirements:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in physics or closely related discipline such as biophysics, applied physics, engineering physics, astrophysics, etc. Non-physics majors must have completed core physics requirements to be considered.
  • Be a US citizen or permanent resident (or be a part of the DACA program)
  • Did not apply to a physics graduate program that received a letter of acceptance
