Good Morning Friends,
Every February a good friend of mine, and Pastor in Oklahoma, takes time each day to write a letter. He participates in what is known as InCoWriMo, or International Correspondence Writing Month. It’s a made-up celebration of exactly what it is. Letter writing. Taking a moment, each day, to choose another human to write a note to, a friend who needs encouragement, a grandparent who needs some grandkid art, a stranger with a word of care.
The heart of the idea is this, to connect with another in a physical way, even from afar. Send the note, write the letter and connect. If you’d like someone to write to, let me know. I’ll connect you with college students, or others who live alone, even some of our younger kids would love some encouragement from their church family.

Registration opens today for the 2021 camping season! Check out the camps and events at Dakotas United Methodist Camps.
Registration and all information for the 2021 camping season will be digital and available on our website. With the potential for changes to schedules and events leading up to summer due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Dakotas and Minnesota Camp & Retreat Ministry team chose to forgo the traditional printed camp brochure this year. Instead, all camp listings and registration information are on the Dakotas UM Camps website where details will be updated quickly, and changes made in real-time. This ensures you will always have the most up-to-date information.
The early bird incentive, bring-a-friend discount, and camperships are all still available.
Space may be limited this season, so sign up soon!

- Bring-A-Friend Incentive is back in 2021! Each new camper you bring to camp you can earn you a discount of $25 off the price of your camp.

Move-out kits for Genesis Program graduates
|

The following is a list of items for the Genesis program graduates as they move into their own apartments. There is a box at the church to collect these items. This is an ongoing need each month for the New Life Center.
- New 4 pc silverware sets
- New pots/pans (frying pans, sauce pans, roasting pan)
- New dishes (4 of each: plates, bowls, cups, glasses)
- New kitchen utensils (knives, spatulas, serving spoons)
- Mixing bowl
- Cookie sheet
- New kitchen towels, dishcloths, potholders
- New bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths

"I Will Celebrate" by Phil Driscoll
Throughout the Psalms, we are told of ways to praise the Lord (see Psalm 150). We are told to sing unto the Lord a "new song". Written by Linda Duvall and first published in 1982, "I Will Celebrate" is not the newest of songs. It has been recorded many times by numerous Christian musicians. However, if you think you are familiar with it, listen to this rendition by Phil Driscoll from his album Power Of Praise (Sparrow Records, 1985). It will surely change your assumptions of any limitations of “church music”.
