Dear LCA Families,

As I write this letter, I am reminded of all the amazing things God has done for our school during a year where we have faced unprecedented challenges. Being part of this LCA family is truly a blessing, and we see God’s promise come to life daily, both on and off our campuses.

I am thankful to everyone who participated in our 2021 Eagle Gala. Because of you, we were able to raise $155,612. Thank you to everyone who organized and hosted the event! I loved hearing from our students, teachers, parents, and alumni as they expressed their love for our school and the reasons why we all need to invest in Lexington Christian Academy. I also want to thank everyone who purchased a goodie bag, voted for an Eagle Dad, bid on an auction item, and/or donated to the event. I am humbled by your generosity and support for our school.

As you have heard me say, at many Christ-centered independent schools, tuition alone does not cover the full cost of education each year. LCA is no exception. Financial support to the Eagle Gala provides the school with the essential operating dollars that bridge the gap between our tuition revenue and full cost of providing a quality Christian education for our students. As a Christ-centered school, we rely on God’s provision through tax-deductible charitable contributions over and above tuition to sustain and enhance our programs and facilities.

Your generous donations will allow us to cover our gap, and now additional donations will allow us to pursue the investments our principals need for their campuses. As you may recall from Friday night’s broadcast, our principals cited needs in the following areas:

  •  iPads for our elementary students
  • Classroom furniture for our junior high students
  • Laptops for our COWS (Computer on Wheels stations) which serve our 6th-12th grade students
  • Classroom materials for our high school students

If you have not already submitted a donation to our annual event, I ask you to prayerfully consider a gift that is meaningful to you and your family. Each donation will be invested in a resource to serve our students and their teachers.

None of us could have predicted the trials we have faced, the changes we would experience, or the impact a global pandemic would have on our lives. Yet, God is good! His protection was present throughout this year. We look forward to the ways in which He will provide in the days and weeks to come.

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration of our request. May God bless you, your family, and our school.

In Him,

Scott
