Believe in Haiti is devoted to keeping Haitian families together through love, education, and service, while empowering individuals to rise above their current poverty level.

Carnival in Haiti
If you were in Haiti this month, you would be able to witness the biggest celebration of the country.  Carnival is celebrated every year, this year in February, over a few weeks.  Celebrations are held all over the country, from Port-au-Prince, Jacmel, to many other major cities.  The streets are filled with people dressed up in many colors and disguised, as well as Rara bands that play Haitian music. All around you can find floats, music, dancing, and colorful costumes.  Carnival is highly anticipated by all ages.  Children enjoy it and even have activities at school to celebrate.
While Carnival is celebrated for weeks, the official holiday of Shrove Tuesday is on February 16, the day before Ash Wednesday.
Thanks to Peak Auto Auctions in Denver, there is now another way to donate to Believe in Haiti.  Do you have a car you're ready to say goodbye to?  We've teamed up with Peak Auto Auctions to be able to receive a donation for your donated car.  Old cars, klunkers, RVs, boats, and motorcycles all qualify! Simply fill out the form on our donation page under "vehicle donation" and you'll be on your way to helping the people of Haiti!

Our Impact on Haiti

When we say "our", we mean you, and those who volunteer with Believe in Haiti, and the people of Haiti.  It took every one of us to get to this point.  Through a lot of hard work, generous donations, and perseverance, we've seen so much progress and improvement in the lives of the people of St. Rock.  By providing and growing meals, sponsoring tuition, and other donations, the people of St. Rock have been able to receive the basic needs to survive.  Then, from creating programs that create self-sufficiency and financial impacts to breaking ground on a Hope Center to expand upon each program and create opportunity, we have watched a dream come to life.

Meet Ennerson
Ennerson is a primary student and part of the Believe in Haiti sponsorship program.  He is the oldest of 4 children and enjoys playing soccer.  His family owns some horses and uses them as their mode of transportation.  His father works doing concrete work, and his mom sells food to help their family income.
