Dear <<First Name>>
This month's eBreve looks firmly to the future, with exciting opportunities in the short, medium and long term for choral singers, conductors, accompanists and composers.
Our thrilling news - in case you missed it in the countdown to Christmas - is that NZCF will host the World Choir Games in Auckland in July 2024! Read on to find out about how your choir could take part in this massive global event, regarded as the 'Olympics of Choral Music'.
In the nearer term, this year's Choral Connect convention is a chance for conductors of all levels to refresh, upskill and network with colleagues from across the country and, thanks to technology, around the world. And for choral musicians in the City of Sails, the Auckland Youth Choir is offering an innovative suite of mentoring and development opportunities in 2021.
In this eBreve we also celebrate Alison Stewart's QSM service award, introduce you to our new Finance and Membership Manager Ann Gibbard, and share Andrew Withington's latest paper on fine-tuning your choir.
