First Things ~ February 3rd

Dear Church Family,

Welcome to our Minister of Children and Families, Sarah Dunson! Sarah will begin her work on February 15th. Please be in prayer for her as she makes the transition from Lexington to Owensboro. Plans have been made to give her an official First Baptist welcome, see below.

Be on the lookout February 14
th falls on Sunday this year and we will be observing the Lord’s Supper. What a great time to remember the love Jesus gave to all who would receive Him.

Join me Sunday as we continue in the Book of Acts. This week we begin chapter two and I am excited to see the Holy Spirit at work in His church.

FYI: I am asking you to pray for our church’s involvement in “The Gospel to Every Home!” We are going to be part of this Kentucky Baptist statewide movement to get the gospel to every home in our state. You will be hearing more about this in the very near future.

I love you!
Pastor Paul

If you attend the service we recommend that you wear a mask into the building while in motion, as you are seated, and during singing.

Thanks to our volunteers, maintenance staff and ministerial staff who are doing a wonderful job helping people find their place. They are also doing a fantastic job of having our building clean and sanitized for each service.
