In Isaiah the one God who sits above the earth and numbers the stars also strengthens the powerless. So in Jesus’ healing work we see the hand of the creator God, lifting up the sick woman to health and service (diakonia). Like Simon’s mother-in-law, we are lifted up and healed to serve. Following Jesus, we strengthen the powerless; like Jesus, we seek to renew our own strength in quiet times of prayer.

Adult Forum Series – Lesser Known Heroes of the Protestant Reformation

Lent Packet Pickup

Swing by the church to pick up your 2021 Lent take-home packet. We will have dedicated drive-by pick up times on Sunday, February 14th, and Tuesday, February 16th from 12 pm - 3 pm.

Come get everything you’ll need for Lent, and see the staff face-to-face. We miss you! The packets will include: (1) ashes for at-home distribution, (2) Ash Wednesday bulletin, (3) Communion, (4) Poetry of Lent Devotion, (5) Soup Supper Recipe Book, (6) updated phone directory.

Virtual New Member Class at Redeemer!

All new members are invited to take part in a new member class. The second class will take place over Zoom on Sunday, February 7th from 11-11:30AM. New members
will be received at our 10AM Zoom Service on Sunday, February 14th. If you cannot attend the class, or will be out of town on the 14th, please contact Pastor Katie to make other arrangements.
