- Bake two dozen nut-free cookies to share some sweet gratitude with staff at local schools, area social service providers, and first responders in our community.
- Make deliveries to SPUR love and gratitude. Deliver cookies to community partners and first responders to say thank you or floral arrangements to neighbors going through a difficult time whose names were submitted anonymously.

SPUR volunteers have been busy creating valentines to brighten other's days. Volunteering at home, they have created 300 unique and beautiful valentines for hospice patients in Massachusetts. We cannot wait to see the additional 125 valentines for local seniors as part of Salem's Senior Meal Delivery Service. Thank you to all of the volunteers who used their time and creativity to SPUR love!

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'” Each year, we reflect on that question as we come together on a day of service to honor his legacy.
This year, 72 SPUR volunteers made 314 dog biscuits for Northeast Animal Shelter, 160 appreciation gifts for North Shore Medical Center, 48 candles to brighten days at the Residence at Vinnin Square, and 216 baked goods for clients at My Brother's Table.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who cooked, created, and decorated for joining us for this day of service!
