Share the Love
Hearing from students directly about their experiences with Music Workshop not only warms our hearts, but it is incredibly effective in telling the story of Music Workshop to our donors, foundations and potential users. We are asking you to help us hear directly from the students. Please find below a link to a google form for the students to share their experiences with Music Workshop. Please share the link with grade 3-8 students, and caretakers for grades K-2. Although the responses will be returned directly to us, the form will not collect their email address or full name. Thank you for helping us connect!

"Just like GOLD!"
I recently was talking with our Executive Director and when I mentioned Letters of Recommendation from teachers, her eyes lit up and she said, "They are just like GOLD". Music Workshop is offered to all teachers free of charge through the support of our generous donors and foundation grants. Your Letters of Recommendation impactfully help tell foundations and donors the story of how our program inspires students. We ask you to please consider writing a letter of recommendation for Music Workshop.
Thank you!!!
Inspire Live Africa
We are excited to announce the date of our next Inspire Live virtual launch party celebrating our upcoming courses on the music of Africa. There will be performances, previews of the courses and messages from Music Workshop and our contributors. The joyful sounds of African music will fill the air. We will provide more details on the event, as well as opportunities for you to be involved. We hope you will join us - mark your calendars - for this free and family friendly event!

Music Workshop Q&A's

Working on improvements to the program
We continually strive to improve the Music Workshop program; Currently we are focusing on updating our Question & Answer documents for each course. It is our goal to further differentiate the grade level Q&A document questions based on student experience, fact based knowledge and connections to culture and concepts. The K-2 grade level questions focus more on the students personal experience. The grade 3-5 questions continue to be fact based knowledge transfer. And the questions for grades 6-8 ask students to stretch their understanding and make connections between the materials and the broader world context. We are always looking for guidance and input from our greatest resource - our teachers!  Please reach out and share your wonderful ideas for our Q & A documents. Email me with your suggestions!
